ANYONE WISHING TO ADDRESS THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING ANY TOPIC ON THIS EVENING'S AGENDA IS REQUESTED TO COMPLETE A CARD AND RETURN TO THE CITY CLERK. SPEAKERS ARE RESPECTFULLY REQUIRED TO LIMIT THEIR COMMENTS TO THREE (3) MINUTES. THE CITY COUNCIL PROHIBITS THE USE OF CELL PHONES AND PAGERS WHICH EMIT AN AUDIBLE SOUND DURING ALL MEETINGS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT, FIRE AND RESCUE OR HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS ON CALL. Chairwoman Christine Arnold moved to approve the minutes from February 18, 2025. Kimberly Willis seconded the motion. The motion carried 4-0. |

| 5. Review of Chautauqua Event | |
Old Business 5. Chairwoman Christine Arnold suggests planning earlier next year. She would like to extend hours next year to add additional speaker. The roundtable discussion went over on time. Next year there needs to be space between speaker and roundtable. Tales of Keystone was the visitor's favorite. They would like to have the time changed to 10am-6pm proposed for next year. They will move forward for volunteer program being utilized.

Deirdre Murphy stated artifacts were well received. The goal is for the museum to have its own location. |

| 7. Artifacts Inventory (January 21, 2025, at 12:30 pm)-Updates | |
The Rodenroths are graciously storing pictures for the Heritage Commission. They should only be there for 30 days. Climate controlled storage is being discussed. |

| 9. Elementary School Field Trip Planning | |
Co Chairwoman Deirdre Murphy discussed adding McRae Elementary to the 4th Grade Field Trip. They are waiting to hear from the teachers as it is Spring Break. There seems to be an issue with transportation for the students. Drew Bell will be ordering items for goodie bags. She will order as if the McRae students will be here this year. If it doesn't work out, then the items will be saved for next year. Chairwoman Christine Arnold is working on the "Andy the Whooping Crane Book." She would like this include for the students on the 4th grade field trip. Once illustrations are completed the printing should take 3-5 days depending on the printer's workload. |

| 10. Climate-Controlled Storage Discussion for Artifact Preservation | |
Chairwoman Christine Arnold is going to check into local climate control storage. Co-chairwoman Deirdre Murphy moved to rent the smallest, most economical unit, spending no more than $200.00 per month. Kimberly Willis second the motion.

| 11. Potential Upcoming Heritage Events and Projects | |
Upcoming Heritage Commission Events: Drew Bell spoke about the new volunteer program. She will add the 4th grade Field Trip, the Chautauqua Event and the Tour of Homes to the list of volunteer opportunities. 4th grade Field Trip John Ceasar dresses in wolf costume and engages the children. At the end of his presentation a canon is fired and the children will move to the next station. Each station should last 15 minutes. John Silva will be asked to participate as Timucua Indian.. Public Safety officer will help the children cross at the Moon Tree. A workshop will be needed to set up the goodie bags. No coins this year. Stickers may be used this year. The Heritage Commision has a stamp. The workshop needs to be scheuduled for an hour and a half. The next meeting is April 15th. workshop at 5 pm on the 15th to assemble bags. followed by the meeting. Four County Roundtable The Four County Roundtable was discussed: September 13th, 2025 will work 10-2 in the historic pavilion. Wendy Harris will reserve on Historic Pavilion Calendar. Organizations will be asked to donate funds to buy food/coffee. Friends of Keystone will be asked to assist with either funds or providing food. There is enough time to work this out. July 4th July 4th is the pie baking contest. Co Chairwoman Christine Arnold discussed the need for age categories should be madeshould be separating children and adults. Police or Fire Department will be asked to judge contest. The prizes need to be discussed in upcoming meetings. Sept: Four County Round table Oct: Boo on the Blvd. Photo booth at Chair Christine Arnold's house. Fund raising for candy.
Historic plaque for Sue Plaster's home now ready to present. Invoice will come into Drew Bell. the price is around $99.00. The plaque will be in City Hall for Ms Plaster to pick up.. The corner of Sylvan and SR 21. Hatch Realty will be opening Ice Cream Shop on the corner of Syvan Way and SR 21. Keith Hatch would like photos of the house to hang in the Ice Cream Shop walls. Chairwoman Christine Arnold will email a few photos. for Pancor House. The old Bryant's house was recently sold. Helen Hersey knows the new owners and will reach out to them in regards to the historic value of their home, requesting the preferred color pallet be used if the outside of the home is painted. Deirdre Murphy went to GCS to research the White Feather Court...cottages on Magnolia...original owners. Mrs Bennett remember the Whiteheads and Rusher's were the original owners. Commerative posters for those who assisted in the Chautaugua. The first edition will be limited to volunteers, city council etc, these will be thank you gifts. Debbie Beal's granddaughter did a painting of a whooping crane. This is an idea for the poster. Chairwoman Christine Arnold will reach out to Debbie Beal. The first poster will be in honor of centennial. A graphic artist will be asked to attend future meeting. Whispering Dog Design out of Melrose, FL is an option. |

Mr. Bennett states the reason he and his wife are here is they saw this meeting on the sign. They wanted to see who puts on the events. He was surprised at the number of people actually involved in planning and executing events.
