Keystone Heights Heritage Commission Meeting Agenda April 15, 2025

ANYONE WISHING TO ADDRESS THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING ANY TOPIC ON THIS EVENING'S AGENDA IS REQUESTED TO COMPLETE A CARD AND RETURN TO THE CITY CLERK.  SPEAKERS ARE RESPECTFULLY REQUIRED TO LIMIT THEIR COMMENTS TO THREE (3) MINUTES.

THE CITY COUNCIL PROHIBITS THE USE OF CELL PHONES AND PAGERS WHICH EMIT AN AUDIBLE SOUND DURING ALL MEETINGS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT, FIRE AND RESCUE OR HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS ON CALL.  PERSONS IN VIOLATION WILL BE REQUESTED TO LEAVE THE MEETING.

Chairwoman Christine Arnold call the meeting to order at 6:01 pm.

Chairwoman Christine Arnold, Kim Willis, Helen Hersey, and John Silva were present.

Deidre Murphy was absent.

Pledge of Allegiance

Chairwoman Christine Arnold led the Pledge of Allegience.

Approval of Minutes

Kim Willis placed a motion to approve, John Silva seconded the motion.  All were in favor.

Old Business
5. Shadowbox Memorial Project

Chairwoman Christine Arnold suggested a presentation on July 4th.  They are going to try and have former firefighters to come to the presentation.  Kim Willis made a motion to approve, John Silva seconded and all were in favor.

6. Elementary School Field Trip April 24, 2025

Mayor Nina Rodenroth will do the opening ceremony and the City Government Presentation.

Helen Hersey will be doing the moon tree presentation.

Kim Willis will be doing Chatagua and reading "Andy the Whooping Crane".

Deidre Murphy will be at the gazebo in Nature Park.

John Silva will be at Fort 11.

Chairwoman Christine Arnold's sister will lead the children to the Pavilion.

Chairwoman Christine Arnold will do the crossing in front of City Hall.

The rotation will begin at 9:30 am. Each rotation will take approx. 30 minutes. The field trip should be done by 11:45.  The students will eat lunch in Nature Park.

Drew Bell will send schedule to the 4th grade teachers.

 

 

 

 

New Business
7. Storage Unit

The storage unit does not have anything in it. 

The bins need to be labeled prior to placing in storage unit.

The Heritage Commission does not want the cabinets behind the dias to go to storage unit.

They will plan a day to move things next week.

Drew Bell will order bins.

8. Ethics Training

This agenda item will take place at next month's meeting.
