Each year the city is required by state statute to have an independent audit conducted on our accounts. Due to amazing work by our Fiscal Clerk, Ms. Tiffany Coleman, we received a clean audit for both the General/ Infrastructure/ Cemetery Funds and the Community Redevelopment Area Trust Fund. For both audits, there were no new findings and findings from the previous year were corrected and closed out. Both audits and the Annual Financial Report (AFR) are attached for your review. Please note that the AFR merges City and Airport financial reporting so it is a little confusing. Brad Hough from Powell and Jones will be briefing the City Council via phone during the meeting.
