For planning purposes and to comply with Florida's Sunshine Law, the City Council should establish a calendar of major events.  Major events include:City Council Meetings, Budget and Finance Committee Meeting, Heritage Commission, Planning and Zoning, know city celebrations/parades, Charter Review, Committee Meetings.

“ Staff Comment- The attached calendar was approved by the city council on 17 November and been in refinement since that point. The city council will need to choose between the two versions of the calendar and provide any additional guidance as we move forward.”

Council members, City Staff, and other city committees/commissions should provide inputs to the city manager for consolidation and presentation to the council for approval.
