City of Keystone Heights City Council Meeting, July 13, 2026, 6pm
Title
C4 - Interlocal Agreement with Clay County for Public Works Support
Description

We have requested a broad interlocal agreement with Clay County Public Works so that we can request and pay for their support for capabilities beyond that resident in our City Public Works. A current example is the need for a vacuum truck to clear a blocked stormwater drain at the intersection of Palmetto Street and Sylvan Way.

The agreement covers support and services, including, but not limited to, grading; stormwater drain cleaning, maintenance, and inspections; culvert cleaning; street sweeping; hauling and delivery of materials; roadway-related services; traffic signal work; and such other Public Works-related services as may be mutually agreed upon by the parties.

Recommendation

City council approve the City Manage to enter into the interlocal agreement with Clay County.

Financial Impact
This agreement will allow us to complete projects or repairs faster and at lower cost than we can currently obtain through industry utilizing our purchasing process.
