This is a notice to the residents of the City of Keystone Heights.  First, City Council seats 4 and 5 are scheduled for election in April 2026.  Qualifying papers will be accepted January 19 through February 6, 2026.Second, the city is establishing a Charter Review Committee. We are accepting nominations for it.

I move that the City of Keystone Heights accepts applications for the Charter Review Committee from January 6, 2026, until ____________________(to be decided at the meeting).

Staff: Reference the election proclamation- “The City Council shall meet at a City Council meeting on February 6, 2026, at 3 00 p.m. and certify the names of the candidates qualified to be placed on the ballot for the election to be held on April 14, 2026. This was not on the city calendar approved by the council on 17 November, but must be added due to election statutes and city code.”
